Plate tectonics

      Plate Tectonics is when a piece of land separate. Which is Pangaea.In many years ago, the world is like a piece of land together. But now they are separate.
      I agree the theory of plate tectonics, because this is real, and this is what cause different continents. As evidence the earth right still slowly moving. And it will be forever. As long as the mantle underneath the Earth's crust gets heated and convection currents in the magma keeps dragging the plates.
      In my opinion, I think plate tectonics is cool and powerful, because how can a piece of land can moving forever,and they are not alive.


Reflection

1.the part I enjoy the most is video part. Because is the fast and easy way to finish a video.

2.the part I challenging the most is Brainpop video about volcanoes. Because I not really understand the video.

3.New skill I learn from this project is animoto. Because this website is easy to make a video.

4.if I do this project again I will improve to done works faster. Because the video part I finish at home.

5.I think I don't need to change about this project. Because the project is not too hard or too easy.

Photographic Evidence

Convergent boundary is when two plates come together. There is a example of convergent boundary, mountains. Mountains is create it when two continental come together then push up.

Subduction Zone is when two plates come together, but the dense one go under the light one. The examples of subduction zone are Trench and Volcanic Arc. Trench is the line in the ocean between two plates. Volcanic Arc is many volcanoes next to each other.

Divergent boundary is when two plates move different direction. Two examples cause by divergent boundary are Rift Valley and Mid-ocean Ridge. Rift Valley is continental plate broke apart. Mid-ocean Ridge is a series of mountain ranges on the ocean floor.

Fault zone is  a break in the surface of the Earth where one side of the brake is pushed up against the other. it also call fault line.

Hot spot is the weak part of the crust.

Transform boundary is when two plates slide each other. Like earthquake and tsunami. earthquake is when land broke apart. tsunami is earthquake under ocean, which can push up water wave and carry a lot of energy and water go long distance.

Ring of fire is an area that have a lot of volcanoes and earthquake happen for example around  pacific ocean.

                                       Solar Eclipse

Solar Eclipse(太阳蒙蔽）: passing the Moon between the Earth and the Sun.

Lunar Revolution(太阳公转）：Moon moving around the Earth.

Lunar Revolution Length(太阳公转范围）：the range that the moon move, it take 27 days and 8 hours to move around the once.

Phases of the Moon(月亮的阴晴圆缺): different shapes of the moon.

Total Solar Eclipse(全太阳蒙蔽）：When the sun cover full part.


                                                            SUMMARY
        We are working on the project. Our topic is about Solar Eclipse. In this project, we have to make a video. On the video, first words i use is Lunar Revolution and Lunar Revolution Length, because i think they are connect it. After that words i will use Phases of the moon, this mean different shapes of the moon. On Aug 15, I saw it was FULL MOON. Before i did this project, the teacher show us a video is about Total Solar Eclipse and Partial Solar Eclipse. If the sun cover it, then some light coming out that is people call diamond ring. Next day, Kara give us a do now about Umbra and Penumbra, umbra mean dark part of the shadow. Penumbra is the light part of the shadow.
       This paragraph is talk about solar eclipse, also there are some word about solar eclipse which i use in the paragraph.

How is earth affected by movement(revolution)?
            While the Earth moving around the Sun cause 4 differences seasons, which is Spring、Summer、Fall、Winter.That takes 365 days. Also the moon move around the Earth cause different shapes of the moon, that takes 27 days and 8 hours to around once.

1.What did you enjoy most about this project and why?
          The things i mostly enjoy this project is edit video in iMovie, because i learn a lot of iMoive.

2.What was most challenging for you during this project and why?
          The most challenging in this project is some editing i don't know, because that will make the video bad。

3.What new skills did you learn from doing this project?
          I learned iMovie and using own words on the vocabulary.

4. Is there anything that you could have done to improve any of you work? Explain.
          I think I need to learn how to use iMovie then edit the video, because one of my group member said that the music is louder then the voice.
